Remedial Construction

Remedial Construction, Sydney.

A family-run remedial building company, Projex Pro delivers structural repairs, waterproofing, cladding and fire-safety compliance, façade restoration and full renovations across Sydney.

We are a licensed builder working on Class 2 buildings and a member of the Master Builders Association. Director Steve Evans brings more than 20 years of experience in remedial and residential construction, and we handle complex strata, commercial and hospitality projects from investigation to resolution. Every job runs under one accountable contract, scoped and documented from the first inspection to handover.

Concrete spalling, movement cracks, chronic leaks and non-compliant structural elements sit at the core of what we do. Each defect is diagnosed at its cause and repaired to an engineered scope.

Structural Repairs & Concrete Protection

Structural repairs cover concrete cancer, spalling, movement cracking and slab defects. Protection systems are applied after repair to extend the service life of the structure.

Cladding & Fire Compliance

Combustible cladding is removed and replaced with compliant, non-combustible systems, including on Class 2 residential buildings. Compliance documentation is maintained throughout the works.

Waterproofing & Leak Detection

Water ingress is traced to its root cause before any new membrane goes down. Waterproofing systems are then installed to suit, from rooftop membranes and balconies to internal wet areas.

Crack Injection & Corrosion Control

Cracks are injected and reinforcement corrosion is treated at the substrate, scoped from the investigation findings so the repair matches the actual defect.

Abseiling & Difficult Access Repairs

Rope access and swing stages let us carry out remedial work on facades and other hard-to-reach areas without full scaffolding. Recent abseil works include scheduled night shifts at height above a live CBD street.

External works prepare the building for remediation and protect it afterwards, covering demolition, roofing, landscaping and drainage.

Demolition & Rubbish Removal

Damaged materials and finishes are stripped out under controlled conditions, with waste removed from site as the work proceeds.

Landscaping

Landscaping works improve water flow, usability, safety and kerb appeal, most often within hospitality and multi-residential projects.

Roofing, Windows & Doors

Compromised roofing is restored or replaced, along with window and door systems, to bring the building envelope back to weathertight condition. Works at the Light Brigade Hotel included a full roof replacement while the venue kept trading.

Sand Cement Screeding & Tiling

Sand cement screeds and surface preparation form the substrate under tiled finishes. Falls are set so water drains where it should before any tile is laid.

Interior works cover custom joinery, specialist finishes, carpentry and fitouts, from hospitality venues to full renovations. The finishing trades are delivered under the same contract as the structural work.

Painting & Finishes (including Epoxy)

Painting works range from general repaints to custom murals. Epoxy flooring is used where surfaces need to be hardwearing, such as commercial kitchens and back-of-house areas.

Joinery, Fitouts & Custom Interiors

Custom-made joinery, bar servery builds, cabinetry and interior fitouts, designed and built in-house to match functionality with finish.

Tiling & Sheeting

Interior and exterior sheeting and wall linings are installed alongside tiled finishes, with layout set out properly before fixing.

Not every part of the work is visible at handover. Services upgrades are scoped and coordinated within the main contract from the start.

Plumbing, Drainage & Electrical

Remedial plumbing and drainage upgrades, along with electrical works, are delivered within a larger build or as standalone packages, most often in kitchens and wet areas.

In-House Design, Drafting & 3D Rendering

Drafting and 3D rendering are handled in-house, so clients can see proposed works before construction begins. This supports hospitality projects and renovations in particular.
