WATERPROOFING REMEDIATION. MEMBRANE REPLACEMENT.

Problem:

The building was suffering from water ingress, with water penetrating multiple units and leaking through to the carpark below, putting both amenity and the structure at risk.

Solution.

Projex Pro traced the water ingress to failed waterproofing membranes in two large planter boxes, and carried out a full remediation.

Removed all plants and soil from both planter boxes

Ground back the existing failed membrane

Laid a new sheet membrane and flood-tested it to confirm a watertight seal

Reinstated the planter boxes with drainage cells, fresh soil, and replanting

Re-tiled the affected balconies

Replaced the hobs and multiple doors to complete the waterproofing envelope

Result.

The leaks were stopped at their source. With new membranes, proper drainage, and a fully sealed balcony and doorway system, the building is watertight again, protecting the units and carpark below, with the planter boxes and balconies restored to a clean, finished state.
