Problem:

Water ingress was affecting the planter box and adjacent wall areas. On inspection, the existing waterproofing and flashing systems had failed, allowing water to penetrate the structure.

Solution.

PROJEX PRO STRIPPED OUT THE FAILED WATERPROOFING AND FLASHING, CORRECTED THE DRAINAGE, AND INSTALLED A NEW COMPLIANT SYSTEM BUILT FOR THE LONG TERM.

Works included removing the failed membrane and flashings, correcting drainage where required, and installing a new compliant waterproofing and flashing system. When demolition uncovered further underlying damage, we documented the findings and agreed the additional works with the owners before proceeding, keeping the committee informed throughout.

Result.

PROJEX PRO'S COMPLETED WORKS PASSED INDEPENDENT FLOOD TESTING WITH NO LEAKS, CONFIRMING THE REMEDIATION WAS CARRIED OUT TO STANDARD. WORK CONTINUES IN COORDINATION WITH THE BUILDING'S ENGINEERS TO DELIVER A COMPLETE, LONG-TERM SOLUTION ACROSS THE WIDER BUILDING.
